Jenny won her age category at Clumber Park sprint duathlon which consisted of a 5k run, 20k bike and 2.5k run in a time of 1 hour 17 minutes 37 seconds which was over 1 minute quicker than 2nd place in her category. Her times for the sections were Run 1 – 22:50, T1 – 1:34, Bike 39:33, T2 1:02, Run 2 12:31.
Katie Roberts also had a fantastic race finishing in 1 hour 13 minutes 07 seconds finishing 7th in her age category Run 1 – 21:22, T1 – 1:23, Bike – 37:57, T2 – 1:16, Run 2 – 11:04
The travelling fans played hide and seek behind an ice cream van near the start to surprise Jenny around the course. A lovely morning was had by all.
